Miss Muffet Makes a Tuffet

With Moroccan and Indian styles coming fast a furious in home decor, poufs are showing up everywhere.  Here is a patchwork one I made by modifying this pattern which uses unused fabric scraps as filling.

The process is simple enough but I completely underestimated how much fabric it would take to fill this thing!  I am a person who happens to have loads of fabric scraps and I didn't even come close.

Consignment store finds did the trick to finish it off keeping this a low cost project.  I pieced together corresponding fabric samples for a no cost exterior fabric, the batting I had on hand and $11 was spent on fabric to fill the pouf. My daughter only took seconds to put this to good use!
